Default So...who's riding to work tomorrow???

It's supposed to be 23* here tomorrow in Central Texas. I was just wondering who, besides me, will be riding to work tomorrow. I've got a 20 mile commute...

It is 7* here and we had snow yesterday so that means salt on the roads, will not ride again until salt is gone. So NO - bike is up for the winter. Ride safe.

Default Good for you for riding

I won't be riding tomorrow because I have the day off. It's just as well, we're expecting temps around 0F with -20 wind chill here in central MO. Coldest temp I have ever rode in was 18F when I left for a winter trip through the southern states to Florida. Got to Georgia and stopped at a Hooters. The manager was a bike nut and couldn't believe I had ridden down, got me a couple of free beers.

Default ya right

its 30 degrees here and will keep getting colder. Bike is in its nice heated room at 65 f for the next 4 months. even if I had a warmer day I still wouldnt bring it out into the salt covered roads, the aluminum would dissolve in that crap, especially in unheated rooms it would condensate and dry and condensate repeatedly all winter.
