Default Questions about Hot Toppers

I have an '08 RKC and I'm looking to chrome up my bolt heads. Hot Toppers are about $385 for the complete kit. Is there other company's that might be less expensive? Is there a better option for covering my bolt heads?

I appreciate your help.

To me you can't beat Hot Topppers but I would only do the starter kit. I think that covers the motor, trans. and primary. Cost around $150.00.
To me the whole kit is overkill....JMO!

Good Luck with your choice!

Would you happen to know an order number for the '08 RKC starter kit?

I have them on my bike also but how the hell do you get them off the bolt heads without gouging them or making indents in them????

This is what I did, then added a few extra. A small flat bladed screwdriver works pretty well for removal. I've got them on two bikes and they look real good..

Personally I can't stand hot toppers. Cheesy little plastic covers that more often than not get screwed up when you have to remove them. I'd go with a polished bolt kit if you want chrome. At 385 for a complete kit you really wouldn't to spend much more to get the bolts.
