Our prayers are with you. I served and now my son and daughter-in-law are both in Afghanistan serving with the 82nd Airborne. They are due home in May also. We worry everyday and get anxious with every news announcement made regarding the losses over there. There is nothing I could ever say to make what your family is going through easier. Stay strong and God Bless and may Elijah's sacrifice never be forgotten.

Default Update - funeral & memorial site

Once again, Elijah's family gives their heartfelt thanks to all for the amazing outpouring of condolences, prayers, and kind support for our nation's hero, and God's Warrior, Elijah John-Miles Rao, and his family.

Here is a link to Elijah's obituary, which contains information about his funeral.

Dear DHart,

Saw the article via a RT on Twitter and I am sorry for your loss -- too close to home since I live in the same town as you, so know that my thoughts an prayers are also with you and know that I believe he did not die in vain.

Regards, and God Bless,

~jfh
