God bless you sir, and your family. Your son was a true American hero, and we all owe you a debt of gratitude in his memory. I am grateful you somehow found the strength to share some of his story with us, and pray you and your family will be able to find some comfort in our clumsy and hopelessly inadequate words of condolence.
We will remember you Elijah, and what you have done for your countrymen. Rest in peace.

My God Bless you and keep you, may his face come to shine upon you. The bravery of our young is what keeps us safe. Your son has that special place that only THE FALLEN HEROS KNOW. For this reason I wear the emblem of the Fallen Heros on my back everytime I ride. My prayers are with your family.
