I just wanted to share my condolences along with the countless others. No words can make your pain go away. Stand proud and know your son is one of the chosen. Thank you for his service. Every day I see young boys come to Parris Island, yet 3 months later I watch them leave as men. With over 34 years of service in the US Navy, I have seen my share of young men and women pay the ultimate price for our freedom. It never gets easier, and it will never go away. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers for another lost shipmate.
