My condolences, I feel your pain, I lost my 8 year old Daughter 2 1/2 years ago. It's a pain that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I'm truly sorry for your loss. I went through a lot of counseling/therapy, whatever you want to call it. Also, I was on meds for a while (I still should be, but the side effects were worse than the grief) Everything I did to try and help myself worked, but only to a certain extent. There's only so much that can be done with therapy and drugs, but you should at least give them both a chance. I'll say a prayer for you and yours tonight, just after I say one for my Daughter.

Thank you, Sir. Thank you for sacrificing your Son for us. I know it cost you everything... and I hope that perhaps you and your wife someday come to believe his life wasn't wasted on the rest of us.
My Son is 3rd generation career military. I hold him tightly to my heart but with an open hand-knowing-fearing-accepting that he too might stand proudly next to your Son someday soon.
I am retired military and now work at a Veterans Hospital. There, I see only the survivors. The real heroes like your Son populate my Dad's hood and I visit with them whenever I tend his grave. I promise I'll introduce your Son to him because he too was a Harley guy like you, and he too was a true soldier like your Son.
