Default Harbor Freight 1000 lb Motorcycle Lift

Has anyone used one of these? Are they any good? Can they hold the weight of a bagger? Harbor Freight has them on sale now for $279. It seems like it would be a great deal if they work.

I've had mine for 4 years now, and it is very good piece of equipment for the money. I spent $3000 for a lift in my shop in Texas, and the only difference (performance wise) in this lift is that is has a foot pump to raise it and my other one was air .

We looked at the HF lift a couple of yrs. ago. But then found the HANDY lift
I think it is called with the air lift. Maybe at the time it was a couple hundred
more . But the Handy is more sturdy IMO, plus with the air we went
with it. We have 4 Harley in the family and have a couple of friends that
use it to change tires and such. But with CL, I have seen both at a much
better price.....Tenn.

Tried to buy the BLACK WIDOW frame jack a couple of times. Always on
back order. As we had a siccors jack we just welded a larger piece of
metal and glued a thick piece of rubber to it...Works good last a long time!

Their web site is still showing a price of $399.00. Is the $279 a special price offered somewhere else?
