Default Marine cover

Does anyone know about a marine cover that will fit with the biketronic kit for sony. I don't like the splash cover from biketronics and wants another flip up type.

I bought one of these ... http://polyplanar.com/productSingle.aspx?prt=WC-3 for my 09 FLHT but it won't fit. The ignition switch interferes and the cover is wide enough that it overlaps the small guage openings ( I have tweeters installed). I inquired with biketronics to see if one of their covers would work on my Kenwood deck but they're not sure. Is your cover just a snap on rain protector ? Might not be bad when listening to XM and no need to access face plate. Are these covers tinted/smoked or clear ? Troop

Default Biketronics cover

The biketronics cover can only be used when the radio is "sinked" into the fairing. My radio is positioned about 1½ - 2 inches into the glove compartment. The cover is pushed into the opening in front of the radio. You have to pull the cover out when you want to access the radio. I'm using the biketronics kit for Sony so I can use my hand controls to control the sony radio. Because of this I don't have to remove the cover all the time.

Havn't tried the stereo on the road yet. Winter in Denmark and have to wait 4 more months :-(

Go and look at the cruchfield website. I did a sony head unit and there where a few for me to pick from. I ended up going with a marine radio instead of the cover. I didn't like how any of the covers looked

The marine cover will not fit with your mini guages otherwise I'd sell you mine and mail to Sweden...

The Dane,
I've been running the Biketronics gear on my FLHT for a little over 65,000 miles in all kinds of weather. I don't have a cover and tape a plastic bag over it when I wash the bike. I've had absolutely no problems with it.
Riding with friends,

Default Thanks for info

Geoff thanks for the info. Will use the biketronics cover when washing the bike, think it will do okay.

Can't wait to get on the road again.

I lost my cover while on the highway 2 summers in a row. Wish they made something that didnt just "press" in.
