Default Which Service Manual

Hey all. I like to do some of my own work. I have a 99 RK classic. Just wondered if you preferred the Clymer or Haynes service manuals. Or is there another that you recommend. Thanks.

If you're going to buy a manual go ahead and buy the HD manual not a Haynes or Clymer. You will be glad you did.You can buy them online at a discount.

What he said. Not an area to save a few $. Bite the bullet....it will pay off in the end.

Get the service manual first, then get the electrical manual if you are going to keep it for a long time and work on it. It will be money well spent.

I purchased the harley service manual for my 06 RK Custom and the Electrical service manual. It is bad *** to say the least. Covers a lot. It is the same the shop uses to troubleshoot your bike.
