I bought a large cover from Pep Boys and the bike is parked in an unheated garage with a battery tender attached in the winter. Fortunately winter's here are short. Moisture does not seem to be a problem, however, the light under the skirt trick to control moisture is good to know.

Why not? Keeps the dust off of it. (a-n-a-l.........I know because I are)

Use the cheap Wal-Mart cover (bike in attached garage), cats live outside with the rest of the animals....that is why people live behind walls, to keep the animals out! Animals lovers back off!!!! My pets are well cared for and live past the average age, (unless they get on the bike) they just do it outside where animals belong. JMO
