old girl sputtering
I think I found the starting problem. Main circuit breaker a bit corroded and a 40 amp instead of the 50 it should have. Next problem. Yesterday about 45-50 degrees. Went out put on about10 miles,no problems ran great. Stopped for about 20 minutes. Fired right up after about 2 miles it started to hic-up ( dies for less than a second and then runs again. Has been doing this most of the summer) This happens now and then. Will run for a day, no problems then start doing it again.
sometimes just a bit sometimes pretty severe.rode aprox 30 miles. When I got home it wouldn't even idle. Is there any way to test the ignition module? It is not a fuel problem there is good flow to the carb. Its not the cross over line as the gas gauge sender is on the same side as the pet **** and the gauge never drops. when it happens the tack will either drop or jump up. does not seem to effect the lights. Intermittent in nature.Any suggestions thanks This is a 56 tour glide 1340 evo. Problem with being the 3rd owner. You got to unbugger there buggers
