I have a Nuvi 750 that use on my bike. I use the windshield mount that came with it. It sucks to my RKC shield just fine. I made a safety catch outta parachute cord and looped it around my windshield bag in case the mount decides to let go...It never has.

And, I can't remember right now where I picked it up, but somewhere out there on the web, someone has a HD POI file you can load, which I did, and it tells me that I'm approaching a HD dealership. Works well.
I had read with the bigger SD cards the unit takes longer to boot up. Do you find this is true. I am thinkig about a 8 GB card?

Do you need to download any special software to load the Mapquest routes?

TIA

That's me! I had my Nuvi on a Fatboy prior to my Ultra...and have been in quiite a few pouring down rains.
So far, so good...going on three years I guess I have had it.
I know there may be better units...but for the price now-a-days.....
for me, if it breaks, they are cheap enough (in my book) to replace rather easily.
I just rode with 1of2 (Dale) the opther day, and he sems to rather enjoy his so far.
I have mine attached to a RAM mount on the left handle bar and the windshield protects it pretty well while on the go.

if u load alot it will take longer to boot unless u put the songs in folders then all is good.u can get the harley dealer poi download for free on gpspassion forum.the 450 and 550 have a brighter screen that is easier to see in the sun and glove freindly buttons and my older unit will not support itunes so u have to convert your music files to another format.
