Garmin Nuvi 750 Portable GPS

I've had a Nuvi 750 for about a year now. Use it on the bike. Haven't had a problem with rain ruining the unit, and yes, I've ridden in the rain. I plan routes using Mapquest and load them into the 750, and I have a 16 GB card loaded with thousands of songs installed, all without problems. You'll love the unit.
And, I can't remember right now where I picked it up, but somewhere out there on the web, someone has a HD POI file you can load, which I did, and it tells me that I'm approaching a HD dealership. Works well.

Do you need to download any special software to load the Mapquest routes?
TIA

So far, so good...going on three years I guess I have had it.
I know there may be better units...but for the price now-a-days.....
for me, if it breaks, they are cheap enough (in my book) to replace rather easily.
I just rode with 1of2 (Dale) the opther day, and he sems to rather enjoy his so far.
I have mine attached to a RAM mount on the left handle bar and the windshield protects it pretty well while on the go.

if u load alot it will take longer to boot unless u put the songs in folders then all is good.u can get the harley dealer poi download for free on gpspassion forum.the 450 and 550 have a brighter screen that is easier to see in the sun and glove freindly buttons and my older unit will not support itunes so u have to convert your music files to another format.
