Default Kuryakyn tail light kit

Kuryakyn tail light kit instructions say to use a test light to find the "run" and "ground" wire in the stock tail light harness. I'm installing this on a 02 Road King and don't have a test light. Has anyone done this install and can tell me which wires are which? If not, I guess I need to get a test light. Just trying to take the easy way out if possible. It may be difficult to describe which wires to tap into, but if you've done this install, please give it a shot.

If you have voltage tester that you can set to 12VDC, you can achieve the same results.
