Curious to see how others made out at the 20-25% off sales today?

I headed to Battlefield HD in Pa. I got 25% off my parts, including AMSOIL. The parts were as advertised. I was disapointed with the clothing Dept, I planned to get new boots for 20% off but was told that boots were not part of the sale.

Anyone else have similar results?

My wife picked up a few gifts and some parts I needed and received a 20% discount. Every little bit helps.

 

Cap City H-D (Madison, WI) had a 30% off sale Wednesday on all genuine H-D accessories/clothing. Today was 30% off 7a-Noon and 25% off Noon-7pm. Screaming Eagle stuff is 20% off....

 

Went to my local dealer and was quoted cruise control at 10% off. Went to another parts guy and asked if they were pricing out the door, tax included. he gave me a higher price(no discount). When he saw my expression he looked around and whispered to me "if you buy it now I will give you 10% off", all the while acting as if he were doing something that would get him fired. I must look stupid or something. Wait! He was the one who was looking stupid. Anyway, not wanting to be rude, I politely informed him that I was already quoted 10% off. I then stepped outside and called another local stealer and was told there were no discounts on parts today. I guess they don't want my money. I will be buying online today.

 

Hit three dealers, two highland HD dealers in Somerset Pa and Lavale Md as they were giving 25 off everything and the Apple HD in Altoona PA. did buy a thing all day for a change. But did get a free hotdog at Apple. Was going to got to Battlefield, was there last year and about 6 weeks ago. didnt know they gave the 25 off Amsoil or I might have gone there again.

 

Troop - Hit CCHD at 11 on Wednesday to beat the rush. There never seemed to be any and I was out by 11:45 with everything I had on my list. They even did 5 special order items at -30%.

 

Wow, a Dealer using/selling Amsoil? I'm shocked.

They even give it as an option on your servicing...They are currently offering 35% off regular service through December 31st (Battlefield HD)
