HD is the Starmate replay.... on crutchfeild its about 80 US.....

Now Im tossed.... I like Wally's setup but I like where Thunders is located.... Thunder what length is the ram mount? Looks like it could be shorter and tucked some more....

Wally, do you know the manufacturer of the mount your using? I think I have seen it somewhere but who knows where that website is anymore...

Well the good thing is I have the Starmate in my car but I had the Xact Visor on the bike before. I think Im going to switch them. As the Starmate is real bright in the car at night I think i'll like it better on the bike.... Ok the switch is happening.....

thanks all

I like that set-up. I was thinking of doing something similiar on my RK Police but don't know how to run the audio w/o a built-in radio & fairing.
I think you can plug headphones in if you have no head unit. Other than that, you may be better of to buy a stereo unit with Sat radio in it already, and instal it in your dash.

You are correct on the name.I don't know what the name of the bracket mfg. is, but, you can put it on either side.

Spike,

It is a 3" ram mount. I tried it on a 1.5 inch but I like being able to change channels without having to reach way forward and like it on the left so I don't have to take my hand off the throttle when doing it and I also didn't want it to block my speedometer. It works really well, I listen to it pretty much everytime I'm on the bike.

Hey Brother, i have researched the same thing for my Road King. So far the only thing out there has been XM (which stinks), but now more Sirius mounts are starting to show up. The only thing you will need is a amped speaker setup like 2 wheel tunes , a volume control (also sold seperately at places like Radio Shack) and the Sirius unit. You can also swap out your Sat for a MP3 player as well.

Check out http://www.2wheeltunes.com/ for ideas
