Who is the recommended brand for 98" pistons?
I'm thinking about having my stock cylinders bored out to 98" and putting in a good pair of pistons.......is Wiseco the preferred brand?
I have 30000 on my 95" pistons, I'm going to do a CCP test on it over the winter and if it's down or leaking..............then 98" it is.

one name in pistons "Wiseco"...http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/VTwin/TwinCam8896.pdf
take the CC's listed and divide by 16.3870641 to obtain C.I.
Or , take C.I. and multiply by 16.3870641 to obtain CC's.

Axtell's new "drop on" kits look promising:

And Herko's an Axtell Dealer!

I was just playing with the calculators again, and these 97" kits look like they will fit my needs better then the 98" kits will. I'm looking to raise my compression just a bit to better fit my cams needs, I'm set on paper at 10-1......but when I enlarged the relief pockets in the pistons I'm sure that dropped it down a bit. So by going to 97" with pistons that I won't have to work on, that should put the compression around 10.25-1 that the Woods cams want.
S&S has a 97" drop on kit with new cylinders for $725, and Axtell has a 97" drop on kit with boring for $460. I'll be doing this over the winter, so downtime is not a big deal to me as I'll have 4+ months to work with.
