Thats reassuring coming from someone who has had ABS and 21's on two bikes. I think I'll opt for ABS on my new bike.

i have a 21' with abs on a 09 road glide although mine is disconnected.the wheel an tire really has nothing to do with the computer. the wheel has a special "abs" bearing on the left side that the computer reads and makes adjusments on that. im an old school rider and would rather trust my own instint rather than the comp when it comes to stopping.
but i would suggest it
good luck

Would one of you 21rs please ride on a dirty road and mash your front brake lever and report if the ABS pulses where felt, and finally put and end to this issue. Please no squids.

Default non-abs to abs wheels

Is it possible to convert a non-abs wheel to an abs wheel? I found some really nice, but unfortunately they only offer the non-abs application for this particular wheel. What needs to be done to make this wheel "abs friendly"?

You need to buy the correct bearing spacer (inside the wheel) and the correct $31 bearings from (one for each wheel). Make sure you mount the bearing WITH THE GRAY SEAL FACING OUT!!! Ask me how I know...

Do you mean only the front brake?

I did it with both, two-up, and they worked flawlessly.
