Default Dealer took 1 for the TEAM

Took my Bike in for the 10k, thought what the heck I will let them do it because they offered $100.00 off the service. I looked on there website and saw that the deal was good until the end of November so I made sure I had it in before Thanksgiving. Bike is in the shop on Monday and the Service guy said he will have it out on Tuesday...Great! Well I am at work and decided to look Online at the Dealership because they do a every Tuesday discount special and what do I discover? The deal I first saw is gone and now there is a 1k, 5k, 10k service special which gives you a $75.00 gift card on either service but not to be used with the service. It can be used for parts, and merchandise only.
To make a long story short. When I get there to pick up the Bike I see the the discount applied and when I went to the counter to pay for the service I asked about the Gift Card and the lady didn't know about the deal until further searching. She takes my service bill to the service department, 10 minutes later she returns and says they are trying to figure things out. The service guy returns and says...looks like you are getting the $75.00 Gift Card. I get the $100.00 off service and the $75.00 Gift card Whata' Great Day!

Okay, so they honored their posted discounts. I'm still trying to figure how they "took one" ?

Only thing I could figure is $100 discount on service + $75 Gift card = $175 (savings/merchandise credit)

You can check my math but that's what I came up with.

But like someone else said "don't worry, they will get it back"!

Just didn't expect the $75.00 gift card initially and wasn't sure if they would do both but they did. Not a big deal

Now just try and spend $75, and walk away without it costing you more that's the tough part....... They didn't HAVE to honor the gift card, but they did. That's cool.

Credit where credit is due, most offers cannot be combined with any other offers. The dealer stepped up, IMO, and looked after the OP.

anyway, an extra unexpected $75.00 is always good especially when you're getting it and not paying it....
