Plenty of bikes out there. You have been acting in good faith but the dealer has been working with deception and out and out lies. I suggest walking on this deal.

Sounds loke a bunch of BS from Dealer....walk or run away! Gather all the information you can to prove they lied. Ask for the owner and have him explain why you were lied to and show him the contradicting information you received.
Good luck

+1 for the walk away. Doesn't sound like the dealer is trying very hard to fix the problem, or they aren't trying to dig enough to find the problem.

I'd walk from this one. There's just too many bikes out there to have to fuss with possible electrical issues. Not to mention the dealer sounds like a snake.

If you're really hooked on this one, ask for the previous owner's information so you can contact them and ask a few questions about it.

If at all possible walk away with your money. It doesn't or shouldn't take three weeks to get a bike ready that has been sold.

The bike may be fine, but this dealership's crew is not.

Sounds like the deal is done. Money and titles have changed hands and now you have a dealer that can't deliver a bike that you paid for. I'd ask for a refund and if you don't get it, lawyer up!
