Question 2002 Road King Tank Replacement EFI

I am running in a delema. My tank of my 2002 Road King is trash so I am looking for a replacement. I am trying to find one on eBay and I have found several tanks. But hw do I know for sure it fits.

I know I have a single connected (Delphi F/I?) but my correct tank seems have have two holes with the front one plugged up? What does that mean? Do I look for a tank with two holes (Marelli F/I) or with one?

Whay I ask Harley they say it does not fit, when I ask my local mechanic he says it does because I seem to have a converter connector>

I am kind-a rookie in this area so any guidance is greatly appreciated.

You positive you have a fuel injected bike and not a carb?

It sounds like you have a late model 2001 tank which used the MM EFI and it did have 2 holes......but with the Delphi it only one hose..........I think and DAWG can correct me of i am wrong.....but i think you can use a tank all the way up to 04.

I bought a 04 tank and a 04 EFI unit so mine mated up..

Dawg,

I am positive that it is Fuel Injected, the holes are on the left rear of the tank and I don't have a fuel switch or so.

So if jdreed520 is right, does that mean I have a converter in between?
