Trilled to pieces with my 10 ultra. I only have a 1000 miles on her, but there is such a difference between the 8 I had and this one!

Can't tell you about heat...can't seem to get warm around here yet! I could use MORE heat right now!

 

I've had my 2010 Ultra and I can't think of anything I really don't like about it with the exception of the stock seat that is.

 

I'm with Dawg on this one. If you can find an '09, you may be better off and not have to worry about the potential problems.

 

You just have to love what you ride they all have issues. I went from an 04RKC to a 2010 Ultra limited. With the exception of sending my seat to mean city cycles. the 2010 is heads up a better ride than my 2004. Less heat on the thighes and considerable more scoot. It's great that everyone is into what they ride ,but until you put some major road miles on a bike you can't really say that you would never trade up.. Just kick back stick your face in the wind and enjoy

 

The '10s are great. I too got an MCC seat. Don't listen to the hooey about heat, I feel more heat from the FatCat than I did from the stock pipes.

 

Well I have to throw in my 2cents. I just purchased a 2010 Road Glide Custom. Previous bikes were a 2003 RKC, and a 2007 RKC. The 03 was a efi nightmare, dreaded wobble the 07, efi issues, heat, trany noise, bad gearing, crank shaft issues, dreaded wobble, engine ping, ect. My 2010 is the best bike I have ever owned hands down. I purchased the bike with a stage1 already done with a Carriage Works muffler. Th efi is spot on. there are no dead spots, stutters, surges ect. The heat is not an issue so far. It was 80 today and I felt no heat issues. The lower gearing makes the bike more torquier than previous and It get great milage. I now have 2000 miles on her and I cant get the smile off my face. I cant say that for my old 07. Hated it 2 days after I got it home. Pipes, tuners, heat shields, IDS, which the bearing failed on my 500 miles from home, main shaft bearing failure. Get the 2010 if you can swing it. You wont regret it.
