Autolite spark plugs
#2
Autolite plugs are as good as most. The only plug I use and recommend is BOSCH plugs. They seem to hold up better and get more miles. NGK make a fairly decent spark plug but I've settled on BOSCH spark plugs.
As a note, most of my experience with spark plugs have been with liquid cooled engines. Plugs for air cooled engines are a whole different ball game.

I have run Bosch platinum in my bikes for twenty years or more, but my S&S motor recommends Autolite, which seem OK. I stopped using Champion and NGK for the same reason, that they both had poor screw threads and didn't seem to last long. They may be better now, but I will stay with my favourite brands.

How many miles do you get out of spark plugs? I know I have 20,000 on my standard HD plugs. I don't know if they were changed befor I bought it at 26,000 mi. but I check them and they always look good, I always think to white but not burnt in any way. My bike has a carb and has open air cleaner, pipes and torque cams, I figure the longivity is a phenomenon!
