how is the sound? Loud? I readlly dig that exhaust but I must be getting too damn old cuz loud pipes give me headaches now and would hate to buy a set and then take have to take them back off..

I hope that follow on project has the front end blacked out to match the rest of it. That's going to look great!

Well I got all the parts back on, cranked it up and it started.... I was praying because I never took the top end out before. I noticed oil leaking so gotta get back in there and retorque the bolts....gotta go by a dogbone first. Now I starting the front end/inner fairing/wild 1 bars change out but gotta head to the dealer due to both fairing and the right speaker brackets are broken. Goal is to have pics up by Sunday.

We expect you to meet that goal or die trying...

That was one hell of a pile of parts to get coated. I bet the bike is going to look awesome. Can't wait to see what it looks like.
You did or are going to do the forks right?

SMSgt B,

Did you have to gut the tail light to get all the plastic out before paint? If so was it a pain?

Extremely easy. Take off the tail light and chrome backing plate, disconnect wiring, tape off circuit board and paint.
