Question 103 upgrade $2599??

Is it a deal or are there some questions I should ask?

Let's make your 96" Harley run like it should!

How's a 103" upgrade including cams, adjustable pushrods, air cleaner upgrade and a wideband full autotune fuel management system installed turn-key tax and labor for $2599 sound? This set up will put 95hp and 107 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheel. This system will work on all 96" Harleys 2007 to 2010. The only exception is "throttle by wire" touring bikes, the autotune fuel management system for these bikes has not been released yet. This price also includes synthetic 20W50 motor oil and filter change. Exhaust upgrades, if necessary will be extra.

Call V-Twin Service of Rock Hill at 803-327-1044 for more information.

Which cams? (one question you should ask).

Not a super bargain but I would consider it, if I weren't into doing it myself.
Shop has to make some profit.

I'd vote: Go for it.

Default 96 to 103 upgrade.

I got basically the same thing done for 1800. I got the 103, the SE255's, SE aircleaner but no adj pushrods. I haven't had it dyno'ed but it turns pretty good. I'd recommend the SE compensator, I had lots of kickback until we installed the SE comp.

That sounds like a lot of dough for me. Not necessarily for the work being done and the parts, but I'm going to have this work done https://www.hdforums.com/forum/subsc...ewsubscription by Jamie at fuelmoto. He quoted me a price of around 1,100 for the parts, labor, and three hours of dyno time. The numbers are just a little bit shy of what you're getting quoted, but not by much. And if I can get comparable performance for less than half the money I'll take it. Especially since it's being done by a well respected sponsor of this site. That's just me though.

Add in fuel management and tuning time and you paid the same thing.

Questions:
1. What is a SE compensator?
2. What are kickbacks?

Just joking, I don't wanna know.
