I'm fortunate to have great neighbors. The guys love the sound of the Rush slip ons.
The women just don't like the idea of their husbands wanting a Harley.

That's normal with a wet clutch system it takes time to slow down and stop spinning once the clutch is disengaged. I wish I would have known that the Harley's weren't the only bike with this sound, I paid 18K for that clunk. I love the clunk sound btw.

If mine goes into first gear and there is no clunk, then I'll know something is wrong with it and needs readjusting.

I like the sound. You certainly know it's in gear, but I don't find its real noticeable.
