Default Dyno numbers SE-255 Cam Change

08 SG, 96 in., Reinhart TD, SERT, SE air cleaner, SE-255 cams

It came off the dyno today. Here are my numbers.

Max power= 81.89 @ 5200rpm's
Max torque=91.94 @ 4000rpm's

I picked up 11 horse power and 12 ft/lbs of torque over the stock cams.

Torque starts dropping off at 4500rpm's and by 5000rpm's it drops to 82 ft/lbs. That is still 10 ft/lbs more than I had with the stock cams at 5000rpm's.

I am pleased with these numbers and does it ever sound good. A little louder out the exhaust and a little more chop to the idle.
Valve train is as quite as stock.

Now it's time to rock and roll and rack up some miles.

You should be, those numbers should give you a good roll on in 6th gear. Congrats.

I'd like to see the chart for that, maybe your getting big torque early on? 80ish hp and 90ish ft/lbs is what one should hope to see with a stage 1, good tune without cams....

It is 85ft/lbs at 2800rpm's...

90ft/lbs at 3200rpm's

Then it tops out at 91.94ft/lbs at 4000rpm's

then stays in the 90ft/lbs till 4700rpm's

Not to downplay it or make it seem like nothing was done, but I'm getting slightly better with the same setup without a cam change, just a tune. (same bike setup, same year).
Just saying only because I was thinking of doing a cam or contemplating a 103/107.
