Default Engine Guard-Mounted Fog Lamps??

HD part # 68913-98B

Has anyone installed these on their tour bikes? Like 'em?

If so post some pics.

Thanks!

I had them on my Super Glide Custom, liked them alot. They light up what's in front of you and a bit to the sides also, from ground up to about 3 feet at 25 feet.

I'm interested in these also--waiting to hear more opinions.

I have 'em on my Street Glide. Very effective, they light up the side of the road (which helps with deer) and spreads out nice in the front. Adds a pool of light up to about 25 feet in front (as the other fella described). No where NEAR as bright and powerful as the highway lights with the upgraded bulbs on my Electra Glide, but pretty nice lights.

Excellent value; had them on for almost 4 years until I added fairing lowers.

Use the search function at the top of the page for dozens of threads on this subject. People, me included, aren't as conscientious posting replies after the first 10 or so times a topic comes up.

I have them on my Road King. They are a good value in terms of lighting. But because they are mounted behind the chrome front end and windshield I get a lot of bright and distracting reflection off both. Obviously batwing Harleys don't have this issue.

My wifes SG. These were internally wired through the engine guard.

A guy's bike I worked on a few weeks ago had them on it, and I wasn't impressed with them at all. When I took the bike out for the test ride it was dark, so I put these on and I couldn't hardly tell any difference. He had the stock headlight and passing lamps, so I think these lights were just overkill and didn't help out at all with seeing more. They will make you more visible to other vehicles, but that's about it.
