So much for that. After riding it 5 miles that end cap had so many blisters it looked like it was on steroids. So I made it black again. I'm sure high temp engine enamel would work fine but I wasn't smart enough to use that the first time. I'm going to look around for some hi temp that closely matches the bike. Maybe BBQ paint might work as well.
