TCB Braking Systems: Cost vs Value

Has anyone ever used these. They are suppose to make non-ABS brake systems act like ABS.

I went to their web site to learn more about how it actually works. The most important thing to me is that if the diaphragm fails/ruptures in one of those units that it would be "Fail-safe". They claim that if the diaphragm should rupture the bike would revert back to braking as though it were stock.
I have some concern with that claim because there is air above the diaphragm. Would that produce the same effect as an air bubble in the brake line between the master cyl and caliper should the diaphragm rupture?
I'll look forward to reading future posts/comments from those that have them. If they truly are fail-safe, then I think that they would be well worth the cost. The stopping distances are impressive.
