does the harbor freight jack slide all the way under the bike without having to tilt the bike up off the jiffy stand? I have the sears red jack and it is a PITA to have to tilt the bike up an use my foot to slide the jack under the bike. Then as I steady the bike with both hands I start pumping the jack until it levels out.
Just looking for something easier without spending a small fortune on something like the pitbull or J&S.

I use the yellow HF jack frequently for basic maintenance and cleaning duties. When the jack is completely lowered it does fit under my 08 RK while on the jiffy stand- it is a tight fit, but it will push all the way under. I strap my bike down while on the stand with ratchet straps. I have no problems maneuvering this around my garage while on this stand. Serves the purpose, reliable and economical. I plan on storing my bike on this for the winter. One of my better investments, IMO

just a note.
Harbor Freight sends out 15%-20% OFF coupon for IN STORE purchase..
Coupon is sent by e-mail. Coupon has a very short expiration date. (a few days)
Just register on line for free and they send you a 15% TO 20% OFF COUPON about every other month.
Handy man magazine also has 15% off coupon from time to time..much longer expiration date.

I needed another jack for my '10 SG. Really thought about picking up a lift, but my neighbor has one.
I can use his when I need too. If I owned one it would take up a nice chunk of my garage.
I like using a jack and I have a nice wheeled stool to monkey around the bike.
I checked out all the Youtube videos on bike jacks....some of those are scary.
I bought another J&S about a month ago, they shot me a GREAT shipped price.

Hey HapBob, is that table bolted to the floor?

We have one of the Harbour Frieght tables.

It is on casters but has a set of adjustable feet in the front that drop down. Takes the pressure off of the front casters and work very well.

Probably the best buy for the money.

Get yourself a coupon for 20% off in the past 2 issues of AIM.

I emailed them asking if they had any sales or promos going on and they said NO! with this economy you think they be more aggressive... guess they are not affected by it

You know when it comes right down to it....I paid cash for my bike, cash for all the chrome and accessories and if I wanted could easily afford a J&S or Pit Bull, but to be honest with you, I just have a hard time justifying $500.00 for a jack when my Sears Red Jack works just fine. It has safety bars and three height settings so it relieves the bottle jack of the weight of the motorcycle when your not lifting. I don't think the jack is unsafe in any way, so I'm comfortable usig it on my Ultra.

My pup is 680#'s dry and has a good amount of rake.

I don't hesitate to throw it on there when it is open.

Sometimes Harbour Freight stuff is not of the best quality, but this makes for a good lift for a regular user.

I have been using the Harbor Freight table lift for a couple of years now and for the price you can't beat it. It works fine with my Electra Glide and also my Sportster. With the 20% off coupon makes it even more affordable. It is probably the best tool for the money that I have bought in a long time......
