Can you do that in the Black Hills around the Sturgis area ?
Plan at making a few nights at the Chip but I know I will end up looking for a "quiet" place too...
i think you are talking about FREE CAMPING? as far as i know you can camp anywhere in the national forest.

With all the great places to stay in the Black Hills during the rally......
I want to know what possesses an idiot to camp right next to I-90 with no shade.

We always camped out of town usually Devils Tower area and then in 08 at Shade valley but last year we camped in the Days End camp ground right in Sturgis. Had plenty of shade (lots of trees) good facilities and not nearly as loud as you would think. Best part was walking distance to every down town Sturgis attraction and for those that have not done sturgis at night are missing something. You could enjoy a few brews and not worry about having to ride back to the campground.
