Default New Tour Pac Hinges

Can't seem to find the new tour pac hinges in the 2009 on-line catalog. There was a rumor a while back they were dis-continued. Does anybody know if that is true, and if so, why did they discontinue them? There are still some out there you can order, but I would like to know if they were dis-continued, why they were dis-continued, before I spend my money.

I don't think they were discontinued. I just bought and installed a set this weekend. The premium tour-pak hinges were hanging on the display, I just picked them up and paid for them at the counter. They do look nice installed on the tour pack. The part # on the box is 79211-08A. Hope this helps on your search.

Thanks guys, I think they are an "in-store" purchase only. May be why I couldn't find them in the 2009 catalog I down loaded. However, with part number you all provided, I can order them thru lshd1.com. They have free shipping till Friday by the way.

You might try HD's on-line catalog; hinges are at this link:

Well it is too late, already ordered the hinges and a oil cooler. lshd is a 20% off dealer plus free shipping this week. That would be pretty hard to beat I would think. I will check them out next time though.

Thanks, Mike

yeah I found that. It says "in store purchase only", but I was able to order them thru lshd1.com. The catalog I down loaded is a pdf file of the actual 09 catalog, but I couldn't find the hinges in it. Anyway, thanks for the part number guys, I have now spent my allowance!!

Take your time drilling out the old rivits especially on the top half of the tour pak and when installing the hinges. Having a second set of hands is almost a must. I had my son there to help me install mine.
