Default Used 08 Street Glide with scratches - $?

Just went and looked at 2 asset recovery bikes today - an 07 RK and a 08 SG. Rode both, but the SG was the clear winner - fit me like a glove. The bike's only accessory is screaming eagle slip ons, other than that it is stock. Also only 3,500 miles. Scratched items that need repair and cannot be buffed are both hardbags and lids, front fairing, and front fender. Any thoughts on what I should offer for this bike? Thanks for the help.

I know - its a Repo, just sounds better saying Asset Recovery, but if its the right price, whats the difference if I get it from a bank who repossessed it or a dealer who bought it at auction - used 08's in my area at dealers are $19k - rediculous.

Like already stated...a repo bike.

To me assett recovery is holding a gun to the guys head while his lil beaach punk gangster punk friend wanna be "playa" puts all the stuff he stole from me back into my truck while crying dont shoot me dont shoot me mista pleeze!!

Sounds like you found yourself a winner!. Go to the classified section here and you will be able to get anything you need to make this your dream bike!

Sorry about the first part of this post but I just had some low-life scum bag break into my truck and steal some tools that I know they have no clue as to how they work.
Didnt mean to hijack.
Enjoy your ride bro!

I'm thinking $12k is a good number - I just got off the phone with an HD dealer to get an estimate on re-painting and he reminded me that values on the 08 and earlier touring models have dropped tremendously due to the redesigned frame - Of course, he trying to get me to buy new which is not an option.

If it's a basic one tone color you can figure on about $1000 to get everything smoothed and repainted.

Don't ask me how I know.

Just for reference, I just bought an 08 with 1700 miles on it, like new with cruise and security and paid 14500 from a private seller on ebay. I would say 12 sounds really good but wouldn't go over
