Default Haulin my Ultra

I am looking at getting an enclosed trailer to haul my Ultra down south in. I am trying to find a 5X10 Cargo Mate Outlaw V-nose. I was wondering if anyone has one and what they think or any suggestions on other brands.

Try these. Use these for my business and I think they are very good. They also make some motorcycle-specific models if that's what you're looking for. Good luck.

I have a 5X8 US Cargo enclosed trailer to haul my Ultra. It takes it all but I wanted a trailer as small as possible. Didn't want to tow more than I had to.

Didn't you know that Ultra's were made to haul people, not hauled by people?

I ride 98% of the time but there are times I have to trailer - I used to use a Kendon and that was good... I have since moved up to a Wells Cargo (Road Force) - I have used it a few times when riding just would not work out..

I also wanted to tow as little as possible, I ride a FLHTCI.. and use a Toyota Highlander (two wheel drive) and MPG is around 18 with trailer IF i keep it at 60/65

I thougth about this and shopped a lot.. What I ended up with works great for me.. If I had more $$ I would have built a Wells Cargo Motorcycle trailer - that ramp is a little lower but the $$$ is a lot more ... I built this one for right at 3K... Shop around, prices vary from dealer to dealer..

I have a Wells Cargo, Road Force

5X8 with V nose
Side door
Rear Ramp

I then put in alum shelf up front for gear and below that I installed a PVC pipe to hang gear.

The best addition was the set up to hold the bike - Roberts Products

http://www.bikersgostrapless.com/

This system is by far the best way to haul a bike - NO straps are needed... again, I checked this out after seeing it at Reno - Street Vibrations.. just looked to good to be true.

Last July we did NOT want to ride 80 from Sac to Salt Lake so we used the trailer and the Roberts system for the first time.. I admit, I was a little nervous but it worked great and I (5'6") can load the bike (FLHTCI) all by my self... PM me if you want more info..

I have a 5X8 Vnose for sale. It's a Classic Mfg. trailer with lots of options. Let me know if you want to see pics.

Have a Wells Cargo 5X10 as pictured for our Ultra. I offset the bike to the left side a few inches which allows us to load extra equipment such as coolers etc on the right side that can be easily accessed from the side door. I think that the V noses are a waste of interior storage space.
