Default New Exhaust, Kerkers on my Road Glide w video...

Just got my new Kerker Slip On mufflers a few hours ago. I bought these on the recommendation of a good friend who maintains a large fleet of Harleys for a metropolitain police department. These guys can have whatever they want for their scoots and all (50 of em!) run these Kerker slip ons. I removed the fiberglass and installed the tapered tips, as I was instructed to. They come without end caps and Kerker has about 10 different kinds available. Yaffee even makes some for you guys that like custom stuff. I got these from Bart (shooter64) at Cateye Customs! Thanks Bart! Initial results, I like em. Will ride then in the morning and post my impressions. They are quite a bit louder than my Bub 7s were and deeper. It's dark and you cannot see em too well but you get the idea with the sound. OK OK for those of you not into 'night vodeo' I have added daytime video... Did about 150 miles this morning. The sound is definitely louder than the Bubs were. At 2500 to 3000 cruising the sound is evident but I can hear the radio fine, even on the interstate. I did loose a slight vibration I had due to the Bub 7s being very close to the axle nut. These Kerkers have plenty of clearance. Next it's off to get this thing tuned and then we'll see from there.

Exhaust sounds great. I have a 07 Road Glide and the past couple of months I have been trying to decide what exhaust to put on my bike and after listening to your bike I think I have mad my decision. What is the part number for the Kerker slip on that you put on your bike? Looking at the Super Trapp web site there are different part numbers (S/Os HD FLH/FLT 95-10 DOUBLE ESP PIPES, part #128-78001, S/Os HD Mikuni FLH/FLT 95-10, CHROME part #128-78045, and S/Os, HD FLH/T 1995-09, CHROME part# 128-78020). Thanks

108-7257 are the end caps tapered, they help with the sound
128-78020 Are the slip ons.
If you contact Bart (shooter64) on HDF (he is a forum sponsor) he will get you a great price and ship em direct to you.

I saw your Fx Officers at Winchester Harley a while back, they were putting on a very impressive show. They told me they were Kerkers and they sounded very nice. I wonder if you left the fiberglass on if they wouldn't be so load?

They still have a nice tone with the glass packing in them. I just wanted a little more growl. Either way, especially with the tapered tips, I think they are a great product and the chrome on these is really show quality.
