Ever since I bought the 08 glide I've got a very strange symptom that lasts from March till early December every year.

It's a discoloration of the face. Like a negative of a raccoon.

Just had a week of rain and it just about went away, but the sun came out again and it came back.

Very perplexing.

You can get it completely removed, but it's a painful process (i.e. selling the bike).

 

Or wear a full or /3/4 face helmet!

 

Could You explain a bit more in detail about this discoloration?

 

It comes from getting suntanned/burned except where my sunglasses are.

Not really interested in wearing a 3/4 helmet and face shield.

My but is the same color sometimes when I come in later than I told my wife.

 

use more sunscreen

 

Only ride west in the morning and east after noon. Never north or south.

 

You make it sound like a bad thing

 

You should see a doctor right away! This symptom should not be going away, even for a short period of time. That is what my doctor here in AZ is telling me.
