To me, its to much orange on the bike..It has a black strip around the bottom of the bags. I am thinking of a decal above the black strip...any ideas on what to do to break this up??

The actual original color is green/cream...

 

Either black pinstriping on the tank and fender, or maybe do the bottom half of the tank black as well. Some fineline striping on the bags and around the fender as well. I mean similar to factory pinstriping. Nothing too wild. Once the bottom half of the tank is black put some white pinstriping between the orange and black.

 

You painted a red X on your bike ?

 

I double checked the permissions on the files..its set to public...can you not see it??

 

I'd consider having the saddlebag lids painted black and perhaps the lower lip of the side covers black as well.

 

Some Pinstriped in black on the bags, tank, and front fender to offset the black
on the bottom of the bags, but don't go overboard.

 

maybe like an old school tank panel in black with either a white or cream pinstripe between the orange and black....I would raise the black a little higher on the bags as well.....and the bottom section on the side covers....

 

+1 but I would leave the side covers as they are.

 

The only thing that comes to mind that it needs is one of those 124" jobs. The paint looks great.

 

I agree with his color suggestions. Def needs something on the tank
