play it safe.... after you put the down payment down, go straight home and make the OL think it was her idea. The first time I pulled that was the 94 fatty. Four scoots later, after reading all these posts I just informed the wife that I had already put the money down (15 years ago) before she said ok. Goos thing harley gave those blankets away afew years back with $300 purchase. I will be using both of them on the couch tonight.

 

No doubt - I know her well enough after 26 years of marriage! I bought her a jacket - jeez!!

 

I brought my wife of 32 years out to see the Limited and she fell in love with the color combination. She said get it - how could I refuse. Our Heritage is up for sale.

She'll get over it. Or maybe she'll get half of it! I was lucky, my wife went in the dealership looking for a new pair of riding glasses, saw the shiny black Ultra, sat on it and said "get it" so I did. Now my new plate reads "FOR HER"

 

My wife still resents the scooter. I even bought her a new leather jacket, still mad.....Remember guys, Its easier to bagg forgiveness than to get permission!

 

Don't worry she'll get over it!

 

Been with my wife for 21 years she never tells me No or you Can't do that, she pretty much lets me do what ever I want. not because I am a great guy or a perfect husband (although I am) She just does not want to be on the list with the other two former Mrs. Pennington's.

 

Congrats on the new bike. No comments on the wifey part.
