RE: rinehart- pcIII//stage 1 dyno numbers???
I just had mine redone....
First time-
Big sucker, Rinhart trueduals, PCIII, 8° injectors
72HP, 73 ft/lbs
Friday last week dyno run 2 - I wanted a couple areas fixed that I didn't like. But I also got the 25° injectros installed. Dealer was really good about. No questions told me if he had them on the shelf he would.... and did.
Big Sucker, Rinehart Trueduals, PCIII, 25° Injectors
77HP, 80 ft/lbs
Much better bike and power throughout range.... no cold start issues

RE: rinehart- pcIII//stage 1 dyno numbers???
great increase spike, do you think it was the adjustments you made gave the bike better gains or the 25 degree injectors, or both. i just had my 25 degree injectors installed as well. i had the dynotune schedualed but the dyno was down that day, so im going back on monday the 24th. if your tuner got at least 5 more horse and 7 more torque, why didnt he get it right the first time. how can you tell if there are areas that need fixed? by just feel or numbers?

I was hoping for 75/80 when I had mine done............but only came up with 72/78.
I would like to fine someone who has a dynoed custom map for an '05 with this setup and try their map out to see if I notice a difference.
Spike.............do you have a dyno sheet that you can post?

Anything in the 75hp/80tq range is real respectable for a tuned/stock motor with duals. Plenty of power on a strong pulling bike, able to make a quick pass and climb to 90-100mph....easily! More than enough juice to get you into....or out of trouble. I have very seriously contemplated pulling the trigger on a big bore package, but am honestly satisfied with my set-up. Gear drive cams sure would be a cool option![8D]

Im at work atm when I get home Ill put it together for posting.
As for the area I needed fixing... when you ride you can feel the lag. It feels like the bike is starving for fuel. As for the increase I believe it is due to the 25° injectors. I was talking to the Dyno guy and he was telling me that the 25° was using less fuel and he had to take some away. I think the 8° are starving the bike in some areas. When he dynoed the first time he set it up like he liked it and told me if I had any issues to let him know. So i did...... as for my A/F im bouncing on 13.... I know I don't have my scanner hitched up anymore but worse case Ill picture it... (good DSLR camera)
Ok a quick lesson on injectors. The best injector would be one that creates a fog in the cylinder. Raw fuel is not the best for igniting. As we all know the fumes are what ignites. you can actually put a match out in gas but the fumes is the danger. I believe the 25's are achieving a better mist of the fuel hence use less fuel and better ignition.
Steve,
I'll email you my map. It can't hurt anything but you can do a comparison or even try it out. Thats the fun part about having the PCIII. Biddeford huh.... Ill be up in Old Orchard for a week in August camping to bad Im not taking my bike. We head over to Beech Ridge for the races that is funny as hell.... They encourage fighting..... Whats better then that?
Bounty,
I agree the quick pass is really nice. I was thinking about going to the 95" come fall. The dyno guy said he can gaurantee me 100hp/ 115 ft/lbs. But after driving this around now Im having second thought. It still is short of what my Victory was (88 hp, 94ft/lbs) but hey its fun to drive....
