Default mounting a wheel chock

Just ordered the HF wheel chock, don't want to mount it into the floor, how are you guys mounting it, can't get the bike in it slides forward. Any suggestions

Let see if I can post a picture. I mounted the base to the frame, and can unpin the rest of the chock.
