Scala vs. Camos BT headsets - opinions please
I currently have a set of the Scala Teamset bluetooth headsets that I am using with my Zumo 550 and a cell phone. I haven't tried them as intercoms yet because the wife just had back surgery and can't ride. I was going to test it with my lady friend neighbor but I was told I better not have another female in her seat
The volume from the wimpy speakers on the Scala is almost impossible to use above 50 mph. They do have some solutions on their web site to add foam in the ear canal and then mount the speakers where they just touch your ears. I am not crazt about doing this.
I also have one of the Harley BT headsets but it is single channel so I can do the Zumo and Intercom at the same time.
So I just saw the Camos/IMC BTS-200 units. Can anyone who has one of these units comment on how well they work? Are they loud enough? Have you compared they to the Scala.
I am trying to keet from buying more headsets as this is getting expensive.
Please no comments on whether or not we should be using cell phones on bikes. That is a different conversation and will not help me.
Thanks for any comments.
