I used a Bikersdelite lowering kit on the rear of my 09 SG. I bought it from Ebay, got it within 3 days and installed it in 20 minutes. I am a 5'6" woman and with the lowering kit and a reach seat, I can comfortably flat foot and back the bike in and out of parking spaces. I have had my bike lowered for 2500 miles and have had no rubbing issues with the rear wire harness.
