Had a slightly high RPM after installing, about (1200 rpm). Did the throttle set, let things settle in at idle while hooked up to the putter. No problem since.

Actually there is an upgrade, but I never bothered with it. If memory serves it changes the length of time the ECM looks at the throttle position. I never bothered with it and just trained myself to avoid the throttle when I shut the engine down.

 

How do you do the reset?

 

Its actually in the manual I think

with the kill switch in the run position turn the ignition switch on for five full seconds
then turn off for five full seconds

repeat four more times

idle should be back to normal
