Also may consider to look if the slip-on mufflers use the square rubber hanger on bracket. He may wish to change those rubber blocks....the rubber blocks harden and cause a squicky noise..cost about $2 or $3 each..rubber block also helps support the weight of muffler..only supports are from L-bracket and that rubber block.
