Smile Which solo seat?

Almost never have a passenger and would like to get a solo seat for my 09 SG.

I am 5'8" and have a 28" inseam. The stock 2-up seat fits me fine. I am looking for a solo seat that will pretty much keep me in the same riding position. I don't want to be pushed forward or back, up or down.

Would like to know what others are using and pics would be great.

By the way, I have no complaints on the comfort of the stock 2-up seat.

Thanks.

Shame you have a '09 otherwise I could give you a great deal on a practically new Mustang Solo with backrest. I have a '06 SG so it won't fit.

I had a Mustang vintage solo on my 09 SG. Can't say it really changed the seating position much but it was more comfy.

I have a C&C solo on my RK that I really like (Pictured below). I also have a Corbin solo that I like equally well. The C&C is less expensive and in my opinion quite a bargain.

I tried the Mustang seats out while I was in Laughlin... I didn't care for the vintage solo because I felt like it made me sit higher on the bike. I ended up with the daytripper solo which was only supposed to be for short distances but it's a lot better than stock... plus I think it looks the best too.

If you are going to be doing any long distance riding, I would recommend the Corbin. I have the Corbin Classic Solo on my Road King Custom and it is great for all day riding, day after day.

For just local rides of short duration, just get the one that looks best to you.

I've done a lot of research on here and I'm going to be ordering a solo from C&C...from what I've read they are quite comfortable but I do believe they change the rider position slightly...1 inch down and about an inch back I think...
