I agree, the lights look awesome. I installed a set on my SG over the winter. I think the front end looks naked without them. Every time I would see another SG coming toward me down the road, I would feel like there was something missing.

So I put on the same set that's used on the Screaming Eagle Ultra Classic, which I think is the same one you put on (hard to tell from the pics). The mounting brackets are much nicer than the ones used on the Classic and the Ultra.

I agree - I bought the SG to not have all the fender trim, saddlebag bars, and bumpers. I wanted the passing lamps and will be 1 of my cold weather projects along with cruise and TD (dont want to take the bike off the rode to work on it). I love the powder coated lights - they are awesome.

The passing lights are new for '06 I believe. They are designed for the Street Glide (becasue you use your same bullet turn signals) but can be retrofitted to any other Batwing bike or RK for that matter (I guess all baggers then!).

The part is: 69818-06 $299.00 in the H-D P&a book.

Is that in black or did you have to powder coat them?
