Default Saw a Merlot/Cherry Red Street Glide today

First of the custom colors is out. Thought someone had said they were pushed back to December. Not bad but not my cup o' tea. The darker color looks black at some angles and almost like last years root beer at others.

Here are some not that great cell phone pics.

I saw that color combo on 2010 Ultra Limited couple weeks ago at dealer. I thought that Merlot looked really sharp and I agree almost black.

Man, that doesn't look anything at all like what I expected.

I almost ordered an Ultra Ltd. in that color about month or so ago when I thought I could actually afford it, but I came to my senses at the last minute. If I'd gone through with it, I would have ended up losing my deposit when it came in. No way I'd buy a bike that color.

Beauty's definitely in the eye of the beholder and to each his own - but to me, that color combo sucks bigtime!

Wish I could order one in just the Merlot color. I bet that would be a beast in the sun.

I always thought the beauty of the Street Glide was the solid paint. No different color panels or pin striping along with the clean fenders.

I dig the color combo, just not on a Street Glide. It sort of takes away from the sleek meanness. Now... that on any other bagger is the cat's hiney.
