I didnt' think I'd like the Root beer last year either until I got a good look at it in the sun...I'm sure this will be just as nice. Some colors you just have too warm up to.

Saw the SG in the merlot today and it looked sharp inside the store, and it will really pop in sunlight since the solids/flakes are clearly visible even with store lighting.

I like the two-tone SG's, but would like them more if HD didn't paint the saddlebag lids two-tone.

Thanks for the pics; I hadn't remembered that the saddlebag latches weren't color-matched -- they're chrome in your pics.

street glide with 2 tone paint is ugly....1 tone paint is the best, but no doubt that merlin is beast under sun...

+1. never much cared for the 2 or 3 tone thing. It's tooo much...imo.

I saw an ultra at my dealer and I couldn't believe the flake in that beast. I bet it does look better outside.

I also saw that color in York the picture does no justice for that color it is awesome

The more I look at it, the more I think Id like to only see the sides of the tank and the side covers / lower bags done in the 2 tone. Leave the lids, fairing and front fender solid color. Still a great color combo though!
