Yes.

You can install and program it yourself using the method posted in the DIY forum here. Just search for TSSM.

It takes about 30 minutes to install the system including the siren and about 30 minutes marry the unit to the ECM. Then you can spend an hour or two programming the different options.

FYI I do not recommend turning on the "self arm" feature.[:@]

 

Am I understanding correctly then that a laptop is not required to program the security code?

I assume the instructions tell you to push a seqence of buttons in a specified order as I've heard?
