i take it your internaly running your wires back into your bars ??
take your time take pics of the wiring and write down or diagram the wiring into the clips. there will be 3 main clips you will unplug from the harness,1 for left controls,1 for right controls,1 for your t.g.s (throttle grip sensor). once you unclip the plugs and unbolt the 4 bolts from the clamp u can remove the bars an do your work on your work beanch away from the bike just incase something happens. i used a paperclip to release the pins from the connector , there will be a little green clip that atteches to the tgs inside your bars, try not to unclip, pull apart or break it. u can run your wires thru which ever way is easyist for u,string, coat hanger,or 1,2,3 wires at a time.
once all the wires are thru bolt the bars on reconnect ur harness put your fairing on an go............
did mine in 4-5 hrs
good luck

Thanks blownrocket.
And bcmwake-- I got the bars from phatperformanceparts.com because they had the ones I wanted in stock, and they were as cheap as I could find too. For the cables and brakeline, I used Yaffe's parts guy. Wouldn't recommend them though, took for ever, and after several calls, ended up with something different that was described on the phone. I would go with johnnyvaughn.com I spoke with him, and he seems a little more up to speed with different options, and keeps most of it on hand.
